Our Progress so Far

For the hospital we have provided two major items of diagnostic equipment the Humalyser and the Humalyte

The Humalyser
Installed 30th July 1999

This is used to measure a range of different proteins in blood improving diagnostics and enabling correct doses of the correct medicines to be made thus saving lives.

Ironically one of the first people to benefit was one of the aid workers who otherwise would have had to fly back to the U.S.A for a test previously unavailable locally.

The Humalyte
Installed April 2002

The Humalyte is an ion selective analyzer that measures inorganic ions in the blood.

The charity continually provide the reagents to keep both these instruments in operation and these are stored in the fridge donated by Paul

The charity would be grateful for any financial contributions towards the cost of supplying essential reagents (supplies) to keep the instruments working.
These reagents are purchased in Germany and reliably delivered to Grigoriy Kliminouk the Head Doctor of the Ukrainian Institute Of Oncology (thats a big word for cancer)
